Objective
Cure Ventures, a newly-formed life science VC firm that invests in seed-stage drug discovery companies to create life-changing cures, was seeking a partner to define its identity and bring it to life through refreshed digital content alongside a large PR push to announce the raise of their inaugural fund.

Our Process
• Discovery - we immersed ourselves in the life science venture capital scene by analyzing competing firms and interviewing Cure’s team members and entrepreneurs.
• Brand Messaging - leveraging insights from discovery, we developed a messaging framework that defines Cure’s verbal identity: who they are and what they stand for.
• Brand Design - building on the momentum from messaging, we produced three creative concepts to demonstrate potential directions for visual identity and ultimately produce an aesthetic that embodied Cure’s brand.
• Website Refresh - we strategized the website’s content and wrote copy to bring the brand’s ideals to life in an engaging digital medium. Our work included bespoke design treatments, animated effects, and new imagery.
• Photography and Videography - to establish a personal connection and show the people-first approach of Cure Ventures, we orchestrated on-site photo and video shoots and produced polished materials for use on the website and in the media.
Conclusion
Announcing the raise of their inaugural fund was a pivotal moment for Cure Ventures and they needed to make an impact. Through our branding and content work, we helped the Cure team introduce themselves to the world in a unique and ownable way.
